Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut
Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology received deemed-to-be-university status from the HRD Ministry’s Department of Higher Education through a notification number F-9-37/2004-U.3(A) released on November 8, 2006. The status was granted under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
Only institutions which meet the standards set in the 1956 UGC Act and also meet the enclosed requirements end up getting the deemed-to-be-university status.
Shobhit University Gangoh
Shobhit University Gangoh was notified into becoming Shobhit Vishwavidhaylaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam through an act passed by the UP legislature in 2011 and signed into law by the governor. This was in accordance with section 2(F) of the 1956 UGC Act.
