About College
Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharmshala was established under the Central Universities Act 2009. The university has two campuses in Dharmshala and Dehra both in the Kangra district. The Beas campus in Dehra performs 70% of the Academic activities of the university and 30% by Dhauladhar campus in Dharmshala. Its territorial jurisdiction spans over the entire state of Himachal Pradesh.

- The department of studies designs courses based on the expertise and specialization of its faculty members. It also guides the students to choose their own set of courses.
- The university allows the students to opt out of the programs in mid way but they will be awarded certificates/degree based on the extent of hours spent on campus or credits accumulated by them. They can also resume their program after certain lapsed duration.

It has well furnished classrooms with all the required electronic devices like LCD, Projector. They provides Language lab for enhancing communication skill and presentation skills of students. It has central library with huge collection of books, journals and reference books. There are Superb facilities for indoor and outdoor games. it conducts seminars and workshops.
