The Deccan College of Medical Sciences was established in the 1984. The college is affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and recognized by the Medical Council of India. The college offers Bachelor, Master and Diploma courses in the field if Medical Science

• The Deccan College of Medical Sciences is a two decade old Medical Institution with an intake of 150 seats providing modern medical education at undergraduates (MBBS) and various speciality and super speciality level: MD-14, MS-4, PG Diploma-9, M.Ch-2, DM-2

The college has well-equipped and spacious library. The college library consists of 23,258, 79 Indian and 105 International journals

The college has an auditorium with capacity of accommodating 800 people
