BFC College of Physiotherapy, Kottayam is run by a non-for profit company, Bahuleyan Charitable Foundation (BCF) especially with a view to support women’s education and empowerment. The College has a vision to become a pioneer in heralding changes in the field of health and education catering especially to the economically and socially backward communities in and around villages of Vaikom. The Parent Teachers Association of the College participates actively in the bettering the academic and extracurricular experience of the students.

The girls’ hostel is located within the campus, along with additional accommodations approved by the college at nearby women’s hostel and lodgings. The campus also has facilities for indoor and outdoor games and sports.
  • Cultural Activities – The Students Union of the college actively organizes the Annual Youth Festival-“Cresendo” and Annual Sports and Games Event-“Fenestra”, wherein various competitions and events are held to bring out the talents of the students.
  • Continuous Professional Development– The College has a CPD unit which organizes lectures/ Workshops on Medical Education Technology taken by eminent academicians on a monthly basis. These sessions are open to all Physiotherapists on and off campus.
  • Medical Practice– The College is affiliated to Govt. hospitals and renowned specialty hospitals wherein the students get clinical experience as per the curriculum requirements set by the apex bodies. The Teachers along with the students are engaged in various research projects related to healthcare.
