The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a leading medical college of India, and is most renowned for Centre of excellence in research & education. It was founded in 1948 & presently governed by the Indian Armed Forces. It was ranked 3rd by the India today in 2013. More than 6000 graduates have been passed out from this college till now. Admission in MBBS program Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the compulsory subject. Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects.
