About College

Indian Institute of Public Health came into existence and started its operations from the year 2008. It is one of the institutions which were established under (PHFI) Public Health Foundation of India. The institute aims to provide value based education and providing beneficial environment for the overall skill development. The institute offers courses in the field of Public Health Management. The institute offers with Integrated M Sc & PhD in Clinical Research, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management, with DISTANCE LEARNING programs as Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Reproductive & Child health Programs, Post Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology. The institute has state of ate infrastructure and facilitates students with experienced faculty.

Scholarship

The institute provides with the Scholarship to the students. Scholarships are provided under Dr. PG Tulpule Scholarship Fund to encourage students who enrolls in PGDPHM program of PHFI and MMTC scholarship fund which provides scholarship to merit students who are economically weak for the (PGDPHM) program offered by IIPH.

1. Training & Workshops- The (IIPH) Indian Institute of Public Health has effectively conducted various short-term training programs and workshops in different fields related to the public health. About 1700 national and international participants have visited IIPH-D for such activities. The various activities at the institute receives its funding support from the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR), the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Department of AYUSH, Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, (MCI) Medical Council of India and Department of Science and Technology etc.

2. Research at Institute: The research conducted by the institute are funded by some of the  national & international funding agencies like ICMR, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, WHO, DBT, Wellcome Trust, UNICEF and others.
