About College

The Chief architect of Indian Constitution and first Law Minister of free India, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar had set up the People’s Education Society that laid the foundation of Siddharth College of Law in the heart of Mumbai, to impart legal education to all sectors of society, especially the poorer and weaker class. The aim of the college is to nurture a pool of talented students well equipped with knowledge of legal system to meet challenges of future and be worthy professionals. Housed at Anand Bhawan which has been declared as a heritage structure by the Heritage Society of MMRDA, the college has produced many eminent personalities of the Legal world, such as Justice P.B. Sawant, Justice M.C. Chagla, Shri Manohar Joshi and so on.
