Law College Dehradun was established in 2002 with the aim of providing quality education in the field of law. Law College Dehradun has the distinction of being the first independent law college of the state. The mission of Law College Dehradun is to create lawyers who would be sensitive to social problems, use law as an instrument to solve these problems and give the common man a good quality legal service. The college emphasizes on producing legal experts, who will not only react to problems, but also anticipate them and devise innovative solutions in order to serve the legal system. The students of the college  are assured of an all-round development of their personalities along with a sound academic curriculum which paves the way for their successful career opportunities.
