National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) aims at preparing the students with a strong foundation towards awareness, knowledge and skill covering all aspects of food, catering and hospitality industry.  The institute believes in a global exposure for its students and therefore is always working towards international collaborations. It lays stress on skill development and capacity building. It tries to keep the infrastructure facilities up to date to give the students best of practicum possible. It believes in creating fresh ideas with better networking opportunities to prepare students for the real world challenges.

• Strategic national and international tie-ups – NCHMCT  wants the curriculum to be of International standards and therefore has joined hands with Lausanne hospitality consulting Switzerland for course and faculty development. It also has partnership with IGNOU for M.SC AND B.SC Programmes along with management courses like MBA.
• Specialized Courses- the institute offers vast number of courses for different streams and skill level. The courses range from full time masters to bachelors programmes and also short term diploma and craftsman certificate courses.
• The ‘’Hunar se rozgartak’’ scheme- this schemes works towards social upliftment and employment of people from various walks of the society. Tourism is a vast industry and requires people of various skill levels. This scheme works towards providing training and job to them.
