The M.A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Pune has been established by the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society, Pune in the year 2001 as an undergraduate college offering the BDS degree. The institute has progressed to offering a post graduate degree and has now successfully been running its MDS programme for the past 8 years in over 7 specialties.
The institute has always aimed to equip all its students with knowledge that keeps them two steps ahead in their profession, hence maintains extensive state of the art facilities. It also continuously adds to its pedagogy new courses that are relevant to current trends in the dental surgery field.

- Extracurricular activities: College Cricket team won the IDA –Colgate Cup held in Mumbai in Feb 2012. College in collaboration with IDA & Colgate organized CDE programmes
