Gangarampur College has come a long way from where it started. With only a few sub main subjects (i.e. Pass Course) in Arts, viz. , English, Philosophy, History, Political Science and Economics- with English and Bengali as Elective subjects -the College now serves as a reservoir of information. B.Sc. and B. Com were introduced in 1985-86 session. Institute  is situated at a peaceful atmosphere and maintains lush green natural garden. Institute maintains its respect within the students as well as the corporate companies. This Institute focuses on the creativeness and encourage world-wide visualization for its students to make perfect profession curricula is Future-oriented. A subject's job-value attracts us primarily since most of our students come of financially-challenged backgrounds.
