College of Agriculture (CoA) at Vellayani ,Thiruvananthapuram is regarded as one of the top level institutions in India for agricultural research and education. The college along with the two other campuses under the faculty of Agriculture has been best in romoting and providing quality education and skill training for agricultural graduates and farmers in Kerala. The instructional farm at vellayani also helps to organize work experience programs for the students at graduate level and provides space for PG and PhD students  for practicals and trials. With the help of CoA in the agricultural University , the agricultural education and research in the state underwent tremendous changes and developments. The college has become the main centre of the agricultural research and education in the southern state.
