The institute intends to build such technologies which can enhance the production of arid horticultural crops and provide consultancy services which can help these farmers to earn their livelihood from arid horticulture.Central Institute of Arid Horticulture has earned fame and global recognition by its research, scientific work and innovative methodologies in the respective field. Arid Horticulture means production of fruits and vegetables in dry and arid regions. This institute is boosting the Scientists and Researchers to come up with evolutionary technologies in this field to cater the materialistic needs of inhabitants and farmers of such Arid Zones.
