Lingaya’s University is also known as Lingaya;s Vidyapeeth. Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth is a privately owned co-ed deemed university that was established in 2009 under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 with the approval of MHRD, Government of India. Earlier Lingaya(s) University was functioning as Lingaya(s) Institute of Management and Technology (1998) under Maharishi Dayanand University and was formed in the memory of freedom fighter late Shri. Gadde Lingaya. IT is also NAAC accredited and PCI approved university.
The location of the campus is spread over an area of 26.5 acres in Nachauli, Jasana Road, Old Faridabad, Haryana. Lingaya(s) University currently offers higher education in various fields such as Engineering, Technology, Management, Computer Applications, Medical, Paramedical Sciences, Education, Mass Communication, etc.

Scholarship(s)

Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth offers various scholarship on following basis:

1. For Girl Students: University offers 25% tuition fee waiver for a girl student who is single child.
2. Differently Abled Students: University gives 25% tuition fee waiver for a differently abled (as per government norms) student.
3. For EWS Section: For the students who are coming from the government/government aided institutions and having 65% or more marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for 25% scholarship in tuition fee.
4. For Lateral Entry (Btech): For the students who are coming from the government/government aided institutions and having 65% or more marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for 25% scholarship in tuition fee. However, the first-year students will have to pay one-time charges at the time of admission.
5. Sports Scholarship: University offers 10% waiver in tuition fee to the students who has participated in State/National/International level games.
6. Alumni Scholarship: The students of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, who seek after qualifying 10+2 / degree / diploma will be provided scholarship equivalent to 15% of the tuition fee for entire duration of the course for pursuing his/her 2nd degree from Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
7. Faculty/Staff Scholarship (Blood Relation): 25% waiver in tuition fee in all the courses for the entire duration of course will be given to candidates recommended by our Faculty/Staff.(only applicable for blood relation).
8. For Existing Students: University offers 15% tuition fee waiver, if a student attains A grade in two semesters in 1^st year or subsequent year.
9. Alumni Recommendation (Blood Relation) : University offers 15% tuition fee waiver in all the courses for the entire duration of the courses to candidates recommended by Alumni of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. (This scholarship is valid only for blood relation recommendation).
10. Alumni Recommendation (Others) : University offers 10% tuition fee waiver in all the courses for the entire duration of the courses to candidates recommended by Alumni of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.

11. COVID Support Scholarship: Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth is offering special COVID Support Scholarship for the academic session 2021 – 22. To avail this scholarship, candidates have to follow the below criteria:

• Candidates will get the scholarship on first year of tuition fee which shall be equivalent to percentage of marks scored in the qualifying exam.
• Minimum eligibility to avail this scholarship is 60% aggregate marks in qualifying examination, i.e., minimum scholarship that would offer is 60%, and maximum 100% of the tuition fee.
• This scholarship is applicable on all the Diploma, undergraduate & Post Graduate courses having a duration of two years or more.
• This scholarship is not applicable on Pharmacy, M.tech & Ph.D courses.
• Candidates have to deposited full fees of the first year (after scholarship) at the time of admission, to avail this scholarship.
• This scholarship is valid up to 30-45 days of declaration of the result of qualifying of examination.
• The scholarship of 10% of tuition fee can be extended for subsequent years of programs, provided academic performance of at least ‘A’ grade is being maintained; and must pass all courses in first attempt.
