About College
Banaras Hindu University was established in 1916 by Pandit Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya. Banaras Hindu University is known for teaching programmes to fulfill the diverse needs of the society. Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (FMS, BHU) is the business school of Banaras Hindu University established in 1968. Since its establishment it has produced more than 4000 Managers. The University transformed the Department of Management Studies to an independent Faculty of Management Studies in the year 1984.

- Entrepreneurship Development Cell -In 2007 the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and sponsored the Entrepreneurship Development Cell for carrying out research and training activities to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship in students.
- Industry Institute Partnership Cell-All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and sponsored the Industry-Institute Partnership Cell for carrying out consultancy and provide training for executives from business organizations and tp strengthen links with the corporate world.
Festivals -
Induction - The induction session for the newly admitted management students of the batch of 2013- 2015 was organized on 16.07.2013, in the Prabandh Bhawan at Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University. There are no elevators to success, the real mantra of success lies in the attitude to work hard and focusing on one’s goal- This was the mantra that was emphasized upon in the interactive session between faculty members and the students.
UNNAYAN- Generally the fest is organized at the beginning of the second semester. It is an intra-faculty event that includes participation from both the first and second year students of MBA, MBA-IB and MBA-AB.

FMS-Banaras Hindu University Each faculty has decent qualification professors are PhD holder and having enough experience in respective field most of the faculties are active in research, paper publication andndo industrial visit for learning. The alumni are very much helpful in terms of career and contacts they provide SIP also. Also Available Internship and Scholarship for Students.

Placement record was good average placement salary were about 6-7 lacs and about 80% student got placed every year another 20% student was not interested because of further studies or wana be self dependents companies like ICICI,Mother Dairy,DHL,VIZAG Steel, Mahindra Finance, Ujjivan, CCD, Wipro and many more.

Candidate Should have a bachelor degree under10+2+3 pattern OR Degree in agriculture, technology, Medicine, Education or Law & PG degree in any discipline with 50% and SC/ST Candidates, 45% Marks is required. Admissions to MBA and MBA (IB) programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of Written Test (CAT conducted by IIM)-50% weightage; Academic records-20% weightage, Group discussion and Interview (conducted by FMS, BHU)- 30% weightage.

Faculty of management studies is part of Banaras Hindu university which is india's top ranked central government university. Campus area is very huge and infrastructure of college is old but unique. Faculty of college is world class. Placement is also very good. Industry exposure is awesome. So many workshops for students. Faculty of college is good and supportive & Placement of college is good. Affiliated to Banaras Hindu University & Separate training and placement. Hostel and Food is good.
