Read Full ReviewThere are no internship programs, but we have a placement cell. Every year, 20% of students get a placement through the placement cell in all of science department ( Biochemistry,Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology). Students got placed in well-reputed companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Dr. Reddy. Last year one of my senior got highest package of 11.5 LPA and I heared that 4.5LPA is the lowest package offered.
The fees submission process is easy, just pay the fees online and give a copy of the receipt to the Department office. Fees are normal based on the course, just 9500 per/year. there are not any loan facilities available, but your fees may be little bit considered if you contact the office and share your problem. Scholarship is available but mainly students going for SVMCM.
As a student pursuing an M.Sc. in Botany, I can attest to how satisfactory the class schedule is. The faculty is dedicated and on time, and both theory and practical classes are held according to the schedule. Our schedule is typically well-balanced to allow for both in-depth theoretical discussions and practical, hands-on sessions. The curriculum covers key topics like taxonomy, genetics, and ecology in depth. The faculty is experienced, supportive, and actively involved in research, which greatly benefits our academic growth.
The infrastructure of our university is quite good and student-friendly. Our Lab is well-equipped with modern instruments like microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and other essential tools for advanced experiments . A central sports complex that provides facilities for both indoor and outdoor games is also available to us. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, allowing us to access online study resources and stay connected.
Although I don't stay there myself, I've heard from friends that the hostel has good amenities. They claim that the food at the mess is generally of good quality and that both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are frequently offered. The rooms are comfortable for living and studying because they are equipped with standard furniture like beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes.
We heard that four Nobel Laureates were associated with this University. Who are they?
