Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Uttarakhand was established in 2005 by an Act of State Legislature. It is mandated to promote the dissemination of learning and knowledge through the medium of Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Ever since its establishment, the University has made strides in different areas. The faculty and staff of Uttarakhand Open University are putting in their best efforts to make its presence felt in this national endeavour. The vision of the University is to provide the most critical components of growth, through quality higher education, to the state of Uttarakhand. UOU offers its programs through 300+ Study Centres established at different locations in the state under eight Regional Centres at Dehradun, Roorkee, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Dwarahat, Bageshwar, Haldwani and Pithoragarh. The University has also signed Memorandum of Understanding with several leading research institutions, companies and professional bodies for the benefit of its students.

Admission in Uttarakhand Open University for MBA Program student must have Completed 50 % marks at graduation or at post-graduation level 45% at graduation level along with 2 years supervisory, managerial, professional, teaching experience. 5% relaxation for reserved category. Admission through- Entrance Test conducted by the University/MAT/CAT Score.
