About College

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUA&T, Pantnagar University or simply "Pantnagar") is the first agricultural university of India. It was inaugurated by Jawahar Lal Nehru on 17 November 1960 as the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University (UPAU). Later the name was changed to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in 1972 in memory of the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and statesman Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant.

Awarded to 6% students of the total number of students admitted to each programme on the basis of merit at the end of I Semester subject to income restrictions. At present it is Rs. One Lac per annum as per prescribed rules

Free ship in Tuition fee

 

Awarded to 25% undergraduate students on rolls of the University on the basis of merit-cum-means as per prescribed rules

Sports Scholarships

Awarded to the best five all round sportsmen and sports women as per prescribed rules.

      Our University offer Placement service & Great all major company comes here to direct recruitment. Such as other company also visit like catch salt britannia and amul. I do not know much about this other company also visit and i know many of our senior get recruited they get a good salary. Best hostel facility with best quality food and high qualified professor. No internship is provided. Also offer Scholarship for students.

    What is the minimum eligibility for admission?

      10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is the basic requirement to take admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering program. Percentage required in qualifying exam is 50% for most of the engineering institutes. However required percentage criteria depend on college. OR Diploma holders in the mechanical or allied stream are also eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their diploma after10th. In some cases candidates having bachelor degree in science are also eligible. Admission is done though any of the entrance tests conducted at national and state level.
