About College

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad is a publically owned university that was established by MHRD, Government of India as a center of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas in 1999. Declared as the Institute of National Importance under IIIT Act 2014 by the Government of India is also a deemed university. Also known as IITA, plays a crucial role to generate manpower on national level areas such as Defense, Weather Forecasting, Space Programs, Microelectronics, Economic Development & Social Transformation and etc.
The campus of the college is built on 100 acres of land at Devghat Jhalwa (Peepalgaon Road), which is on the outskirts of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
