This is one of the best Universities in the state of Rajasthan. Its name and fame has been rising since its inception. It is providing the students with the best of education and facilities.

• It is located at Ladnun, Nagaur in Rajasthan.
• It has been recognized by the UGC.
• It has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the NAAC.
• Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (now a University) was set up in the year 1991.
• His Holiness Acharya Tulsi inspired the foundation. He is scholar, saint and a seer.
• He is the ninth Acharya, the Supreme of the religious sect (Jain Terapanth).
• His Holiness was the first and foremost Anushasta (Preceptor) of this Institution. He was ably succeeded by Acharya Shri Mahaprajna.
• The Anushasta is a constitutional post of this Institution from where the Institute can be guided both morally and spiritually.
• The University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the U.G.C. Act of 1956, in the year 1991 on the proposal of the Government of India accorded the University as ‘deemed’.
• The name of the Institute was changed from Jain Vishva Bharati Institute to Jain Vishva Bharati University vide notification of the University Grants Commission, No. F.6-1(II)/2006 (CPP-I) dated the 13th of September, 2006.
• Transportation is very easy. There are many express and deluxe buses from Jodhpur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Ajmer and various other cities.
• There are two airports located nearby (Jodhpur and Jaipur).

Central Library –The University has a collection of books, journals and the like materials for the users.

• There are more than 70, 000 books.
• There are 6000 manuscripts that are rare. They are known as ‘Vardhman Granthagar’.
• There are a large number of periodicals and journals.
• The students are able to search by using the OPAC facility.

Computer –The University has provided for a superb Computer Lab.

• The Computer Lab provide for a blazing Internet speed that is available through lease line.
• There are regular staff and students who are making a good use of the Library.
• The departments are connected through LAN.

Hostel –There are many hostels that have been provided both for the boys and the girls.

• Accommodation has been made available for the students who have come from out station.
• However, the accommodation is limited. The policy of first-cum-first-served basis is followed.
• Mess facility is also there.
• Rules for both the boys and girls are framed.

Medical Centre –The Medical Consultancy services (Ayurvedic and Allopathic) are made available for the students and other users. It is available free of cost.

Coaching Schemes for SC or ST or OBC and Minorities –The schemes are aimed at providing the minority students (SC or ST or OBC) basic training and coaching so that they can appear and clear NTE or SLET exam.

Career Counseling Cell –This Cell looks after chances and opportunities that a student can avail for the getting jobs and appearing for various competitive exams.

Insurance – Insurance facility has been provided for the students.

Bus Service – The University provides for its own bus service.

Language and Audio Visual Lab – Communication skills are very necessary for the students to shine brightly. With this point in mind, the University has provided with language lab and it is very we equipped also. Developing English speaking power is the objective of these labs.
