Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) was established in the year 2006 under the Punjab University Act, 2006. It is approved by Bar Council of India and registered with University Grants Commission (UGC). It is located at Sidhuwal, Bhadson Road, in Patiala. It has formed Strong Paralegal Volunteer Force of 110 members.

  • It has collaborated with- Ontario International Development Agency (OIDA), Toronto, Canada and International Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Law, Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada
  • It is an active member of 14 law Institutes around the world

    What is the eligibility condition to get admission in LL.M?

      The Admission shall be based exclusively on the merit of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The candidate must have passed the LL.B./B.L. Degree examination from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law or any other University whose degrees are recognized by this University, with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) shall be eligible for admission to the course.

      Registered with University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the UGC ACT, 1956 vide Notification Number F-9-35/2006 (CPP-1) dated 11 January 2007.Recognized under Sec. 12-B of U.G.C Act, 1956, declaring this University eligible to receive Central Assistance in term of Rules of U.G.C vide Notification no. F9-35/2006(CPP-1) Dated 17.06.2008. Accredited with 'A' Grade by NAAC.
