The good companies are only for MBA.for engineering Non technical companies comes here for placement like marketing in vivo mobiles. internship is Unpaid.there is no 6 months training in engineering curriculum except ECE.

the faculty is very good.all the teachers are very experienced & helpful. Classes are taken on regular basis. syllabus is upgraded according to time.theoretical knowledge is provided more than practical knowledge.

Wi-Fi is available at good data speed.infrastructure is not widely spread as compared to other universities. Sports complex & gym is available but gym is paid for non physical department students.library is very good it is well built & spacious & fully air conditioned.some labs are well equipped but some are not.

The quality of mess food is not so good & it tastes very bad some time. Only vegetarian food is provided in DAV-U campus.non veg is not allowed in University. The rooms are well furnished.but the boys hostel have limited seats in the basement only under the girls hostel. cleanliness & hygiene is well maintained on the regular basis.

Currently average package is around Rs. 2-3 lakhs. Courses given preference are B.Tech, MCA,MBA. Companies that are located in Chandigarh or Gurgaon. Unpaid internship is offered in most of cases. Self evaluation could be done using AMCAT exam reoccurring every few months.
Fees & Scholarships
Entrance exam or Reservation criteria is basis. Fee could be submitted through any bank to University's account. Nothing as of now, however due date could be extended by providing an application.
Academics & Faculty
Faculty in B.Tech is mostly GATE qualified and experienced at other institutes in Jalandhar. Classes happen according to requirements mentioned in Syllabus. Syllabus is bot upgraded but new subjects may be introduced according to needs. Theoretical knowledge is definitely given priority like most of other institutions.
College Infrastructure
Wi-Fi is available available throughout campus with high speed Internet. Sports facilities are also good with gym built within campus. Library is one of most spacious places in campus with a ton of books and magazines available. Facilities in labs are kinda average.
Food Services & Hostel
The speciality of food is that it's quality is really hard to beat. One can not find food anythat tastes any bad than that served here. However this is common among most of hostel and really can't do anything about this. Rooms are cleaned weekly but the sewage system in Boy's hostel creates a great amount of smell. On a whole, hostels are not definitely gpod for accommodation.

As it is a New University , so university is trying their level best to bring up Companies in Univerisity for placements . Many companies had visited the University , many students from MBA have been placed to very good companies with healthy packages . Mainly its depend upon the caliber of Student only to crack Jobs .
