About College

Nagaland University, Nagaland was created by Act No. 35.1989 of Parliament passed in 1994. The University has Kohima Campus at Meriema, Agricultural (SASRD) Campus at Medziphema, Engineering & Technology and Management (SETAM) at Dimapur comprising of 6 Schools and 37 Departments. It is headquartered at Lumami functional since 2010.

Campus Infrastructure

Bioinformatics Research Facility (BIF) center established in 2007 with grants from Dept. of Biotechnology (Govt. of India). It provides training on Bioinformatics implications in Biological Sciences

Center for Gandhian Studies & Research (CGSR) – A UGC sponsored program approved on December 13, 2005. Attached to Dept. of Sociology & guided by Advisory Committee performs various Academic activities.

Hostel facility with limited accommodation capacity and 1 Separate Gymnasium for  boy’s & girls is available within the campus

1 Auditorium with 800+ seating capacity

Library

A repository of 14784 books including 2482 reference books, 1858 Monographs, 84 Theses

Subscription of 42 Journals including 1226 bound journals, 2600 E-Journals from UGC INFONET & 899 from DELCON consortium

Information & Communication Technology facilities include PCs with internet connectivity, Digital Scanning, CCTV, SOUL 2.0 & Web OPAC software for online book search

      i) Graduate of any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).ii) Candidates who have appeared their Bachelor Degree final semester exams and waiting for results are eligible to apply.iii) The written test will be followed by Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).iv) Final Selection will be based on the performances of written test, GD and PI.
