Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMUN), Nanded came into existence after dividing the Marathwada University on September 17, 1994. It is named after a religious teacher Swami Ramanand Teerth. The University is recognized by UGC, Association of Indian Universities & Reaccredited with ‘B’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has 4 campuses at Nanded, Latur, Parbhani & Hingoli. The Nanded (Headquarter) campus is built on a 525 acre site, situated 20 km south of Nanded Township.

Hostel

  • The Boy’s hostel contains 212 rooms and can accommodate 272 students. It provides Mess facility with a central dining hall of area 1200 sq ft & a Recreational Room with TV set, Subscription of 3 Newspapers (2 copies each) etc
  • The Girl’s hostel contains 196 rooms and has an intake of 268 students. It also has 1 Dining hall, 1 Recreational hall with TV set etc

      the University has been granted recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the apex educational body of Government of India, under 2(f) in March 1995 and under 12 (B) in May 1998, before completion of five years.It has been re-accredited by NAAC in 2009 with B grade.

      (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He/She should have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate with English as a subject. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.
