About College

 The University of Jammu, was established in 1969 by an Act of the State Legislature which effectively split the Jammu and Kashmir University into the separate Universities of Jammu and Kashmir.

  • Accredited as 'A' grade University by National Assessment & Accreditation Council(NAAC)
  • The University stands for spiritual and material elements in life thirst for knowledge and virtue under the backdrop of holy peaks of Trikuta Hills.

      There are big infrastructure as well as reasonable faculty, few are excellent. Good affordable education and quality of intake were good back in the early nineties cannot comment as of now but had a great time. Placement assistance & overall good track record of plcements.

      B.E. (Electronics Engineering) admission criteria - 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biotechnology, Language and any other subject with a minimum of 45% marks. All reserved category students have a 5% relaxation in minimum aggregate.

      The university has setup Placement Cells for each of its constituent departments seperately. It work with the industry and invites companies for Summer internships, Conferences, training programs & final placements.
