More of the IT companies came for the placement and the average package is appx 3lack but last time many companies offered near about 7lack . Whereas for civil few of the companies came for the placement and the placement rate for civil is too low but the companies are very good like AFCONS , JINDAL ITF etc. Paid internship is also provided and many other courses are provided also exchange programs are available.

There is no scholarship available and the process for submission is either by cash in UCO bank or by e-banking/mobile banking

Faculty is very experienced and supportive and classes are regular. Syllabus is upgraded timely . Labs are equipted with high-tech equipments so that the practical and theoretical knowledge should b provided equally

Campus is fully wi-fi and the infrastructure is too good and widely spread in the foothills the location is too beautiful . Different grounds for different sports are available . Indoor play area and gym also available and proper opportunity is provided to the sportsperson. Library is spacious and well built with proper availability of the material.online access to the library is also available
Food Services & Hostel
Quality of food is very good and hygiene only veg food is available in the mess. Non-veg is paid in the paid mess. Special food is prepared on the special days.hostel rooms are very well furnished if any thing broken it is timely repaired by hostel warden. Many other facilities are provided in the campus.

Chitkara University infrastructure and hostel is good. Good quality food, top class faculty, International Exposure, World class Students, good mix of Techno-Cultural and socio-cultural events to bring out the best in students. Within a decade, most of our academic programs are ranked in top 50 programs in the country. It conducted many technical workshops during my tenure there. It has very good corporate relations with big companies.

Admission criteria for 1) B.E - 10+2 passed with a minimum aggregate of 60% or secures 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII, JEE-Mains 2016 mandatory. 2) M.E - Bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% from the recognized University. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC, ST candidates.
