The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is a public university, located in Sonepat district of Haryana, for research, education, and catering to the need of food processing industries, entrepreneurs, exporters, policymakers, and government. University offers graduate and postgraduate engineering degree courses and research in Food Technology and Management.

Facilities: Some of the facilities offered by university are as follows-

• Library- The library of university is known as NIFTEM Knowledge Centre. The five-storied building is having 5474.29 sq. mt. There are many books, on-line databases, e-journals, journals, and e-books, etc.

• Classrooms- There are eight 100 seater and nine 25 seater classrooms.
• Auditorium- The institute has a fully equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 650 and with state-of-the-art logistics
• Hostels- There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Living rooms are well furnished and spacious with all the modern amenities.
• Sports- The university facilities for outdoor & indoor sports activities like Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Billiards Table with full flood-light arrangements
