About College

Dergaon Kamal Dowerah College, (DKD College), a premier higher educational institution was established in 1962 with a vision of academic, social, cultural and economic development in greater Dergaon area and with clear objectives to provide better education to meet the global requirements successfully. DKD College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University. It is accredited to NAAC and recognized by UGC.

  • DKD College is situated in the historic Rajabahar Gaon (Royal camp of Ahom KingRajeswar Singha) within Dergaon Municipality area
  • College campus is on elevated land measuring about nine acres and well protected by permanent boundary wall from all sides
  • Within the same campus, the Administrative Block, Class Rooms, Library, Laboratories, Auditorium, Play-Ground, Boys' Hostel, Girls' Hostel and IT Centre are located.
