Krishna University was established in the year 2008 with a main motto of catering higher educational requirements of people in Krishna District. Krishna University emphasis more on research programs and gives importance to innovative activities to meet rising challenges which country faces from variety of perspective. It is established in a great historic town Machilipatnam.

NSS Activities: NSS unit in university was established in the year 2010-11. There are 30000 volunteers are involved in it. The unit do various activities like Tree plantation, blood donation camp, AIDS awareness programs, etc.

Training & Placement Department makes regular arrangements of guest lectures, industrial visits, expert speakers to support student to build up proper perspectives, simulate fair idea about corporate culture. At present, they have not been able to coincide with the Placement strategies but have a good record with top class MNCs providing their students.

MBA degree in this college not only concentrates on its academics but motivates students. It modus students to Leaders. College atmosphere is energetic. Fests and cultural events here conducted by students are worth mentioning. College life is memorable in my life. It has well Library stock, Spacious Class Rooms, Sports and Games facility, Wi-Fi Enabled Campus, Seminar Hall, Well Equipped Laboratories and Auditorium. There are good teaching staff faculty.
