About College
Andhra University, Visakhapatnam was established in 1926 by the Madras Act of 1926. It was founded by Sir C.R. Reddy. The university is not only one of the oldest educational institutions in the country, but is also the first to be conceived as a residential and teaching-cum-affiliating university, mainly devoted to post-graduate teaching and research.

Its Campus spread in an area of 423 acres of land. Central Library with collection of over 5 lacs books, 182 national or international journals and equipped with e-resources. At there is Wi-Fi enabled campus. It has 7 well equipped Auditoriums. Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities are available. Helpul and good knowledge teaching staff. It has a Separate training and placement cell for the students.

Bachelor of Engineering admission criteria - You should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. If you are appearing for the 10+2 examination, you are also eligible to apply. However, you must have studied in regular, full-time, formal stream in the School. Admission Criteria is EAMCET.

Every students got placed in a renowned company. The university is looking forward to make sure that everyone in the campus gets placed in any of the companies that are coming to hire our students. Our department head had been striving to make sure that we would be placed in core companies. Some of my friends got placed in navy and some in shipyards.
