About College

Sibsagar College, Sibsagar, Assam, Sibsagar College is one of the oldest institutes in the country that was established in 1947, in the memory of the 17th century Ahom Queen, Sati Joymati. Since 1947, it has been maintaining its tradition of providing quality education with the help of great infrastructure and well experienced and qualified faculty. With the help and guidance of various eminent patrons, the college has come a long way. The institution is spread over an area of 34.37 acres of land with 16 departments. Their mission is to spread knowledge and impart education to students from all over the country and also from other parts of the world. They have always endeavored to set global standards in terms of teaching and produce students with exceptional knowledge and ethics to improve the society.
