About College
Padmasri Dr. B.V Raju Institute of Technology is a constituent of Sri Vishnu Educational Society. It was established in 1997. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE. The college offers UG and PG courses in Engineering
- BVRIT is located near a small town called Narsapur about 75 minutes near Hyderabad on the bus
- The campus has an area of 110 acres and comprises of 2500 students and nurtures them through their path to education and enlightenment and empowers them for the challenges beyond
- Colleges such as playing fields, courts, boathouse, lush green lawns, a Ganesh Temple, gyms, etc. For the musically–inclined, BVRIT has a practice room and performance venue. It also has a choir and orchestra and put on one or more concerts each year

Extra-Curricular:
- Sports- The college organizes activities like Football, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Volley Ball Court, Chess, Golf, Lawn Tennis, Ball Badminton, Throw Ball etc.
- Vibrant Viz- The music and dance club ‘Vibrant Viz’ was started for students to learn and promote the fine arts and bring forth the creative expression of the students
- In'QUIZitive- It is ca club in which the college develops General Awareness and Communication Skills of the students

Festival:
The college organizes an annual inter-college cultural festival “Zealotz“ to encourage interaction between various colleges and to promote competition. Various competitions are held in music, dance, drama, art and literary events.

BVRIT has been ranked amongst the top 25 of over 550 Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, and amongst the top 10 in Hyderabad
