Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology, Sangli was established by late Shri Padmabhooshan Vasantraodada Patil (Ex. Chief Minister, Maharashtra) in 1983. It is a front runner institute of Dr V. P. S. S. M.’s trust. Its sole objective is to meet the present challenges as well as future technical advancements of fast changing world through scientific & educational researcg and quality technical knowledge.

Yes, Our college do have a placement cell from where we regularly get a notifications through mail or message the upcoming companies are coming for placement with their detailed job profile & remuneration. But due to vast opening in IT field major placement taker was from IT field. In session of 2013-14 the college has placed 134 students.
