About College

St Xavier's College of Education is the pioneer Institution in the field of teacher education. The college imparts one year full time programme in B.Ed. and M.Ed. It is an unaided Christian Minority Institution managed by the members of Patna Province of the Society of Jesus. The College aims at integral and personalized training of young men and women through Action, Evaluation, Integral Pedagogy Context, Experience and Reflection to be well motivated teachers, who will be morally upright, intellectually competent, spiritually inspired and socially committed.

The college has an alumni association, known as St. Xavier's College of Education Alumni Association (SXCEAA) which is quite active and has conducted many activities.
