About College
D.A.V College, Abohar was established in 1960 under the guidance of D.A.V College Managing Committee to cater to the needs of the area. It is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is a model institution to fulfill the demand of qualitative training of teachers who are going to lead new generation into the challenging 21st century. Main objective of this institution is to impart education which should have its roots in the fundamental values of indian culture but be liberalized to assimilate new elements of thought, science & technology suited to changing modern needs. College is dedicated to assurance of quality in teacher education. It is recognized by UGC.

This college is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh. Master of Commerce is the candidate should have passed Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based on Merit.
