About College
The Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya envisions to train all our students for a challenging future through value based education and to meet the growing demands of present society. The Institute’s aim is to provide quality education for the personality development of our students. It is our belief that education is the best way through which a woman can be empowered and be at an equal level with men, that education is the elevation of status of women. The Mahavidyalaya’s goal is to impart an education that is endowed with a vision and purpose to make them ideal mothers and citizens. It’s motto is “Humility adds luster to education” and its mission is to educate, empower and liberate women.

- Institutional Training and Placements by leading companies: The placement of both the graduate and post-graduate students is facilitated through the placement cell and the Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC). These provide information about the employment opportunities and the right career guidance. Besides the training in JKC, we also train our students in soft-skills and corporate communication by providing them institutional training. The monitoring cell organizes seminars and lecture to promote entrepreneurship, self-reliance among the students and encourage job oriented courses like medical transcription, etc. Because of our planned and rigorous training, leading companies like Wipro, Infosys, Transdyne, Care Technologies, Medwrite India, etc. are planning to recruit our trained students.
- Extraordinary services: We arrange many extension lectures to create social responsibility and environmental awareness among the students. We organize field trips or educational tours once a year within India. Picnics are also organized under the supervision of teachers. There are modern classrooms with audio-visual aids and internet.
