Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Satara is the first college of the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha established in 1947 by Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. It is affiliated to Shivaji University and accredited with ‘B’ Grade by NAAC. This college is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire. It provides a variety of stimulating environments for intellectual development , free thinking , and personal growth , challenging its students with dynamic learning opportunities and equipping them with the skills , insights , attitudes and practical experiences that are necessary to take up responsibilities in the society.

Classrooms

All the 24 classrooms are well furnished.

Computer Centre

The computer centre has 12 PC’s, 22 PIV’s and 2 LAN terminals.

Library

The college library has a reader room with seating capacity of 75 students. It has a collection of 176715 textbooks and reference books. It subscribes to 45 journals.

Hostel

Available for both separately with intake capacity of 130 for male students and 240 for female students.

      for admission in Chhatrapati Shivaji College candidates must have passed 10+2 with any stream.
