About College

Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah College, Teok popularly known as C. K. B. College was established in 1959 as Teok Purbanchal College. Later, in 1961 the college was renamed as Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah College. The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and accredited with ‘B’ Grade by NAAC. The College has been provincialised by the govt. of India at December 2006. The mission of the institute is to make the institution a centre of excellence by constant improvement of the quality of teaching and curriculum of learning to meet the aspiration of the students and local people through dedicated service. It is located about 25km east of Jorhat city on the National Highway No-37. The total build-up area of the college is about 30849 sqft.

College has total 56 well equipped classrooms.

Library

The Central Library of the college has about 15,000 books. About 1,540 text books are exclusively reserved in the Book Bank for economically poor students which they can borrow with the provision to return after the final examination.

The college provides accommodation to 50 girl students in the recently constructed Girls Hostel.
