About College

Turbomachinery Institute of Technology and Sciences (TITS), Hyderabad was started by the efforts of Turbomachinery Educational Society in 2008. The Society was founded by Sri T Subbarayadu in 2007. Its objective is to impart higher knowledge in Science & Technology to transform aspiring students into Scientists, Engineers & Technologists.

• It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi
• It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad

Extracurricular Activities:

National Service Scheme (NSS) – A part of this organization is actively working within the college with students as members. It has carried on several activities that include; Blood Donation Camps, Free Training Program in Vocational Courses, Free Eye checkup Camp by Aggarwal Hospital, Go – Green at Indresham village, Legal Literacy Camp, etc.

Sports:

The College provides arrangement for Indoor as well as Outdoor games to promote physical activities among students of different branches.

• 1 Throw ball, 1 Tennikoit court & 1 Cricket ground
• 200 meters Running Track

Events:

• AVISHKAR 2k12 – It was organized by the Department of Humanities & Sciences in which 15 colleges participated.
• Konfluenz 2k12 – It was a paper presentation event which involved participations from all the departments. A total of 50 papers from 35 colleges were presented.
• Turbogens – It was organized by the EEE department in which 80 students from 15 colleges participated.
• Hello World – It was organized by the CSE department in which 250 students from 30 colleges participated.
• Rapidopista – It was organized by ME department & involved 100 participants from 20 colleges.

Achievements:

• Students of second year MBA; R. Bhargavi & Team won the 2^nd Prize in Business Quiz event organized by TRRCE, Hyderabad.
•  Four students; P. Surender Reddy, Mr. K. Sathyanarayana Raju, D. Pawan Kumar & G. Prakash won the 1^st Prize in AEROQUEST quiz competiton organized by CM Engineering College, Hyderabad
• A student of third year CSE; Mr.S.Seshadri won the 1^st Prize at a state level competition in the Photoshop Design Event organized by RRS Engineering.
