About College

The KIIT School Of Rural Management, (KSRM), is the rural management wing of KIIT University. It is located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India and has been specially established for imparting education in rural management. It offers post graduate degree in Masters of Rural Management (MRM).

• KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar was established in 2006 by the father of the White Revolution, Dr. Verghese Kurien & Dr. A Samanta, founder of KIIT Group of Institute in the premises of the KIIT University.

INFRASTRUCTURE:-

• The 45,000 square foot building has six technologically equipped classrooms, four syndicate study rooms, spacious faculty offices and common spaces. Other notable features include conference space, student cafe and lounges.

STUDENT RELATIONS:-

• Student Affairs in the school are managed by Student Coordination Committee (SCC) duly constituted by the Director, with 11 members consisting of 3 faculty members and 8 student members (at least two girl students) to decide upon issues like hostel discipline, hostel maintenance and related issues.

Library:-

• It acquires and organizes information resources in both printed as well as electronic resources which include books, referred journals, e-databases, e-books, e-journals, annual reports, case studies, working papers, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc.
• The library has now a collection of over 5,000 volumes covering a wide range of general and special subjects consisting of textbooks, reference books, pamphlet /reprint collections, back volumes of journals and reports, MTS reports, Village Segment Study (VSS) Reports etc apart from 300 current periodicals both Indian as well as International.

Placements:-

• KSRM has achieved unique distinction of cent percent placement from the very first batch (2007-09). KSRM has so far, successfully placed 312 students with 80 recruiters till 2013.
