Allthough we had more of online classes, learning practical was quiet difficult but it was a good experience and faculty made it even more easy.

I'm currently in my 2nd year, if I talk about the regularity of classes then yes jims' faculty is really organized and punctual. If the class is at 11:15 then teacher enters the class at 11:15 or 11:16am. Not only this, they are really supportive as well. Their practical and theoretical knowledge is pretty impressive.

Once you take the test and the rank is between 300-600 you might get a call for further counselling. There are 3 rounds in the counselling procedure. The first round gets you a college as per your rank and then you either freeze it or wait for a better college in the second round. The second round counselling requires you to do the same , choose the given college and freeze it or wait for the final round. The final round is called spot counselling. Colleges call you and they interview you if you're selected you get the college. Bcom CET requires you to be through with basic quantitative and qualitative concepts along with English and general knowledge. General knowledge includes both static GK and current affairs. They offer your work experiences in HR services, finance, sales and marketing mostly. The recruitment process takes place in the college campus. College is a huge support during this time. Procedure is smooth as long as you are patient and prepared for your role. The package offered varies in the range of 2.5-5 lpa with additional perks which is unique for every company. Your resume must be updated and well presented. The college also arranges for practice recruitment processes where you are given an insight about everything that would happen during the placement. It braces you up for the different placement rounds - GD ( group discussion), Analytical reasoning and personal interview. Take dur advantage of these practice rounds in college as much as you can. Be professionally dressed and don't cast a shabby shadow.

The college isn't very grand but we have a decent well maintained campus. The prime location in Kalkaji has its own benefits. Nehru place comes to easy access for anything and everything. Canteen is hygienic and airy. Students cool their heels to savour the flavour of the food served. The college is wi-fi supported. Classrooms have good and comfortable seating arrangements , perfect lighting and appropriate temperature. The smart boards installed in classes work very well. In case of a technical glitch the IT department is always helpful and the trouble is fixed at the earliest. We have gym facilities in the boys and girls common room with many indoor games installed.

The college doesn't provides any accomodation facilities like hostels but since it is located at a prime location, finding a PG of a hotel isn't difficult. One of the highlighting features is the location it is located near to Nehru place market, Lajpat Nagar, Kailash Colony, Hauz Khas, and is 5 min walk away from Kalkaji Metro Station. The classes and labs are also air-conditioned and have projectors and speakers for the better conduct of the classes. There is no ragging whatsoever from the seniors and every area has CCTV surveillance for the security and disciplinary measures.

Many of the Big brands like Amul, cadbury, Deloitte, CBRE, Byju's, Airtel, HDFC, ICICI, Khimji Ramdas, Asian paints, Berger, Aditya Birla, dabur, visits the campus for the final placements. These companies also come for internships and live projects. The selection process is based on GD/PI. 95-96% students were placed every year. The placement cell is very supportive, they help us in every other way to get better placements from the college campus.

The college offers the scholarship opportunities for the students, but my grades during my school days was not matched the eligibility criteria for a scholarship, that is why I opted for Education Loan from Syndicate bank. However the bank took a whole lot of time to approve it, so it is better to apple it on a very initial stage. During this programme of PGDM in International Business, a visit to Singapore is organized by the institute. In Singapore, the students are undergo with the one week Certificate course in International Marketing, which is conducted by the faculty of NTU. As an integral part of the curriculum, eight weeks of summer internship in a suitable company is provided to expose the students to practical business situations. At the end of the summer internship period, each student is required to submit a report which will be jointly evaluated by the company project guide and institutes faculty through presentation and viva voice examination. The curriculum was fully groomed to provide us with the industry-specific knowledge that would be helpful in securing on-campus placements. More and more companies especially start-ups come with the one-week live projects, which helps the students get the exposure and boost up and to develop their knowledge. 3-4 Industrial visits are organized every year. The college have visited the Industries like Yakult, The Hindus, The Times of India, and many more to let the students know the way of work industries do. Also the placement cell helps the student to boost up their confidence.

the infrastructure of the college is good enough, as in not according to the area in which it is build but the interior infrastructure of the college is very good, the Auditorium is there, finance labs, computer labs are there, library, GD room, Conference room, Canteen, Girls/Boys Common room, Xerox Shop, every thing is available in the campus only. Lift facility is also there. The indoor games room is there, basket ball court is there, gym is also there. Also the Metro facility is there, Kalkaji metro station and Nehru enclave Metro station are only 1Km away from the college, also Nehru place bus stand is nearer to the college, so the students can easily come to the college. And the college is located in front of Kalkaji Police Station, so there is full safety.

Fees & Scholarships
If you have scored high in your 10th 12th , graduation and your Cat or Mat then Jims also have the criteria to give to scholarship of min 1lakh to Max 2 lakh. And if you are a ex student of Jims then also it will provide you the same. Fees submission is through DD and cheque not cash. Loan facities is also provided by the college

College Infrastructure There are many things like one big library, two computer labs, canteen, sports room, gym, GD/PI room, auditorium, one leisure rooms and all of them are well maintained and air conditioned. The library has a wide range of books which is helpful and knowledgeable and it also well maintained and air conditioner. The classrooms are well maintained and have one smartboards and projectors. Now, talking about fests, the college conducts ZEST which is a major part of the fest of JIMS. Academics I chose the BBA course because I want to learn both management and business terms and it has both theoretical and practical concepts. It helps the students to have all the knowledge. I want to be an entrepreneur. I took JIMS kalkaji because of the faculty many of them are PHD holders with recognized colleges. The way of teaching very easy and knowledgeable. The Ratio of faculty and student is 1:15. The exam are held twice in one semester that is one is internal and second one is external. Campus Life The college campus is good. There are many societies like dance society, music society, Placement society, Communion society and many more. Through these societies students are engage in different activities. All the people whether they are students or teacher or staff all are very supportive. Talking about location, it is located in south delhi and it is very safe place.

They provide us with good faculties with their best professional skills. All are very supportive to us in every situation,in terms of guidence, or for internship or any research project. They focuses on all students that all can get placed. The labs are also very neat and cleaned and liberary also

Even though there are better MBA colleges in the city of Delhi, Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), Kalkaji is certainly one of the best amongst all the JIMS. It is an upcoming college and Delhi aspirants should certainly consider it if they can't make it to top b-schools of the country.
