About College

Institute of Rural Management is a pioneer institute in the field of rural management, established in the year 1988. The college was established by SIIRM which is a non-profit organization. IRM, Jaipur is nationally recognized as a Centre of Excellence in Management Training, Research and Education. Over the years, the institute has developed distinctive partnerships with some of the best business schools and technical institutions in the world, with which it maintains student and faculty exchange programs and other forms of collaboration.

The main aim of institution is to provide quality education to the students and brush up their skills and to develop professionals who will work towards the development of the country.

  • The campus is spread over a 110 acre area and has various facilities like swimming pool, gymnasium, horse riding, skating etc.

  • The college has been A++ among the best B-schools in the country.

  • The institute has three campuses viz. Jodhpur, Phagi and Jaipur.

  • The institute has an excellent placement record.

  • The college provides PGDM and PGDM-RM courses with its top class faculty who are working hard to get the best out of the students.

Facilities

Library

The library offers a wide range of books regarding management courses. Presently, the library has a collection of 30000 books, 300 R & E reports, 2400 SIP reports, 47 journals and 18 authentic annual reports. The campus has fully computerized library and is connected to DELNET.

Audio-Visual lab

Lecture halls are fitted with LCD screen to have a better understanding of the subject. The audio-video wing is attached to the library and has a store of many CDs and DVDs.

IT Infrastructure

The college has one of the best IT-Infrastructure. The student operations are computerized and each student is given a laptop for enhanced learning experience.

Computer Labs

It is adequately equipped with modern hardware and software and staffed with qualified personnel. it is one of the important learning sources for the students.Practically all the institutes are computerized and LAN activated. The institute has 2 computer labs having around 150 computer terminals each and other essential hardware and software.

Hostel

  • The campus provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls which is provided only to outstation candidates and the hostels have all the required facilities.

  • Presently, the hostels are run in leased apartments of the Rajasthan Housing Board Scheme within the periphery of Mansarovar township

Medical facility

The students are taken care off and there are doctors available on call.

The college has a dedicated Placement Cell that works as follows:

      The placement in this college is good as the college has made its name by providing good placements. Among the total batch size of 180 every year 130-150 students gets placed in reputed companies like ITC,Mahindra finance and jaro education. The average package offered is 4 lacs and highest offered by the company is 8 lacs.
