About College

Indian Institute of Public Administration was established in the year 1954. IIPA is an autonomous academic institution of national importance for the training, information dissemination and research in streams that are related to ethos of the Public Administration. The institute offers APPP, DST MBA& PGPX programs. The institute was established to improve the cutting edge of knowledge in the public policy & governance through the applied research & education in addition to training of administrators to serve the people of India. The institute was established by the great visionary Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru based on the recommendation of a survey that was conducted by Dean Paul H. Appleby, who was consultant with ford foundation in 1953. The institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.

Library

IIPA has an excellent library. The library has surplus of books related to social science. it has about 2 lakh books and periodicals there are 350 latest periodicals. The World Bank recently has set up a information Kiosk in the library to facilitate easy online access.

Hostel

IIPA has its own hostel. The hostel has total 67 rooms consist of 38 Air-conditions & 29 Air-cooled rooms with the all other required facilities like telephone ,TV etc.

Computer lab

The Institute has a well equipped Computer Center. It is equipped with the Pentium based PCs, servers, & internet facilities.
