About College

Since 1922 Don Bosco Institute of Management - DBIM, Guwahati forge in grounds of Education, Human Resources Development and Cultural Heritage in North Eastern part of India. DBIM is affiliated to ASSAM DON BOSCO UNIVERSITY, (ADBU) which is termed as the state's first private university.

  • Provided the means of MBA- two year full time program with annual intake of 60.
  • DBIM records show the placement of its students into various sectors of banking, Non-governmental organizations and IT companies.
  • Being placed near Ramsai Hills, the institute provides facilities of library, Amphitheater, state-of-the-art class-rooms, Computer Lab, Hostel Accommodation plus other facilities.

The college amends Master of Business Administration program plus to encourage students various clubs are organized by students



DBIM engages students and faculties in imparting mutual growth for betterment of whole academic arena and thus offering most crucial program of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The program was commenced on 2009 with 2 year full time course. The program has lead to huge participation of learning methods and strategies.

Library

DBIM learning center name Julhash Ali Library came into existence in June 2009 forming a platform for educational excellence. The library is funded by funded by the Julhash Ali Foundation. It comprises of access to printed and digital information. It enumerates huge collection of Online Books, Thesis and Dissertation, Open Access Resources, Reference Sites, Dictionaries and newspapers.

 

Placement support

Graduated students from DBIM are placed in various areas with the records that are as below:

  • 44% in Banking
  • 12% in Finance
  • 15% in Airline, FMCG and Education
  • 16% in Non-governmental organizations
  • 13% in IT companies

 

Hostel Accommodation

Separate living areas are provided to students of DBIM. The hostel facilitates water filters, coolers, common rooms and phone facility.

 

Amphitheater

The amphitheater named as Ranghar which can withstand sitting capacity of 500.

 

Saraighat Hall

For international conferences, seminars and other events Saraighat Hall is developed by the organization. It includes the newest digital surround system with extra Woofers, automated screen and LCD projectors.
