About College
Budge Budge College, Kolkata was established in 1971 at Achipore with the purpose of imparting meaningful education to the student of the locality who had to face serious problems regarding admission to different colleges in Kolkata. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta and accredited by NAAC. The College was started by late Rani Bala Dhar with a very limited number of students, teaching and non teaching staff. The Budge Budge College is aimed at shaping tomorrow’s successful leaders in the field of higher education.

The Geographic Information System Laboratory is one the State of the Art GIS laboratories with a significant number of workstations linked to the college LAN and equipped with the latest and exploratory GIS software. |

The library has a vast repository of 20,000 textbooks and reference books. The college is also a registered member of UGC’s national online project “Information Library Network” or “Inflibnet”. The Library also has 4 computers for the students with free internet access. |
