Windows ran fine for months, then one day the watermark just showed up. No new parts, no updates I noticed. I spent time checking settings, got nowhere, and honestly just wanted it gone. A friend suggested trying a kms activator, so I did. In my case it worked and the message never came back. Still weird how Windows triggers it so randomly.
