I run a small grocery store in Liverpool. Every day, we have a certain amount of waste: spoiled bananas, tomatoes, and greens, plus a lot of wooden and cardboard boxes. Regular municipal services charge too much. Does anyone know of cheaper alternatives in the UK?

Food waste mixed with wood is always expensive to dispose of if it isn’t sorted. Check out the rates at https://affordablewastemanagement.co.uk/ from Affordable Waste Management. We set up separate collection for our mini-market through them. They provided a separate bin for organic waste and collect cardboard separately. It works out much cheaper than paying by total weight. How many boxes are left over per day?
