My parents are getting older, and we're starting to think about getting them some help so they can stay in their home longer. I keep hearing the term "elder care caregiver," but I'm not entirely clear on what their actual day-to-day responsibilities are. Are they primarily focused on medical needs, or more on general household help and companionship? It's tough trying to figure out what kind of support would be most beneficial for them without knowing the specifics.
