For me it stopped being about the building and more about whether people felt real. I once visited a place where everything looked perfect on the outside, but nobody ever admitted they were struggling, which made it feel kind of fake. Later a friend brought me to a smaller gathering linked with best church in Prescott AZ and what stood out was how normal people were about their lives, no pressure to pretend. Someone even shared a tough week openly and it shifted the whole tone to something more honest and safe.
