In the first year, it's not just about classes. During my first few months, I got to attend orientation sessions, club recruitments, workshops, tech events, and a few fun activities where I met people from different courses. It actually made settling into college much easier. If you stay active, you'll get chances to join clubs, volunteer at events, participate in hackathons, sports, and cultural fests. I think that's where you learn a lot of things like teamwork, communication, and networking, which are just as important as academics during the first year.
First year students at Galgotias University get exposure through workshops clubs events competitions and skill development activities These opportunities help students explore their interests early and start building confidence beyond classroom learning.
